Here’s what you will learn:
Here’s How It Works
I will email you a link to the lessons with your username and password. When you are done with each assignment you will upload each one to an online photo sharing website. I will give your assignments a critique and then you can start on the next lesson. You will have all summer to compete all the videos and assignments. That’s the beauty of this online class, you can do it on your own time.
The week the class starts I will email you with step by step instructions on how to get started. If you ever have questions feel free to email me.
The only requirement I have for this class is to have a digital camera. For the Shooting Star class it’s recommended that they have access to an DSLR camera. I will also need them to be able to upload their photos so I will be able see their homework. The younger children might need help from an adult with that part.
If you have more than one kid that would like to take this workshop you can share the lessons within your family (but, only yours!),that’s ok, but I ask that only 1 set of homework be uploaded for each assignment for a critique. If you would like for both of your children to be able to upload homework for feedback, the cost is an additional $10 per child.
Note: If you have one child in the beginning class and one in the advance class the costs stays the same simply because they will be sent different lessons and have different homework.

Will you by chance be offering anything like this for the fall? I think it’s great and so difficult to find things like this for kids.
I have a 12 year neice that I wanted to learn photography with me and I think this will be an great way to get her to learn some basics. When I purchase this through paypal do I need to register in her name or mine. And give her name vs mine when registering? Pam

I agree! I missed the June 1 deadline but this would be perfect for my 12 year old daughter. Please let me know when the next classes start.

I’m interested in having my 13 year old take this class – will you be offering another session in the fall 2012? How much time should I expect each lesson to take? How is your program different from other on-line courses?
Will these courses be offered again in the near future? I have a 12 year old that is interested in photography.
Are you still able to download and buy this package? Are you still offering the critiquing? I have a daughter and niece who would like to take the class. Would that be $35 for one (age 11) and $45 for the other (age 16), or is it still just $10.00 for an additional child? Let me know, I’d like to get them started ASAP!
